Lee Ovin “Bud” Ricketson, 78, of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday (Jan. 22, 2019).

LAKELAND — Bernice Latrell Davis Chauncey, 70, passed away Monday (Jan. 21, 2019) at her son’s residence in Lakeland, Ga., following a short illness.
She was born March 5, 1948 in Ware County to the late Melvin Davis and Virginia Steedley Davis. She worked for Tiny Tots Daycare and was a member of the Place of Blessings Church of God, Argyle.
She was preceded in death by one brother, David Davis.
Survivors are her husband, Wade Cecil “W.C.” Chauncey, DuPont; two sons and daughters-in-law, Travis and Michelle Chauncey, Lakeland, and Jeff and Ashlea Chauncey, Ocala, Fla.; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Linda Lieupo and Iris and Mike Harper, both of Homerville, and Patricia Harris, Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, Kenneth Davis, Homerville; three grandchildren, Zeke Wilson, Madison Wilson and Ashton Burns; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Shiloh Church, Homerville.
Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Shiloh Church.
