Shelby W. Willis
Shelby White Willis, 81, died Thursday evening (Jan. 31, 2019) at Hospice Satilla Hospice House.
She was a native of Lakeland, but she lived most of her life in Waycross. She was formerly employed by Waycross Drug Store.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Christopher White and Missie Thomas White, and one son, Ray McKinnon, sister, Evelyne Fletcher, and brother, David White.
Survivors include four children, Jerry McKinnon (Art McFarland), of Niagara Falls, N.Y., Richard Hair, of Florida, Elizabeth Willis D’Souza, of Waycross, and Scott Willis, of Waycross; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Hair, Carrin Allen and John Tucker; two sisters, Bonnie Merritt and Wilma Tanner, both of Waycross; one brother, Lorenzo Thomas (Faye), of Waycross; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held 1 p.m. Monday at the Music Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Brantley County.
The family will receive friends 4 until 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Joyce Marie L. Fletcher
ASHBURN — Joyce Marie Luke Fletcher, 88, of Ashburn, passed away Wednesday (Jan. 30, 2019) at Senior Care Center in Brunswick.
She was born on Dec. 31, 1930 in Turner County to the late Olan G. and Lilly Mae Nelson Luke.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Waycross, a homemaker and a retired factory worker. She loved her Sunday School class and was a faithful worker in the church.
She loved flowers, especially amaryllis. She also enjoyed yard work. Making cakes and pies for her family and friends was one of her favorite pastimes. She was also an avid card player.
She is survived by her sons, Teddy (Debbie) Fletcher, of Sycamore, and Phil (Connie) Fletcher, of Brunswick; grandchildren, Kelley (Peter) Wilson, of Sycamore, and Kristy (Jon) Penuel, of Adel; step-grandchildren, David (Shari) Kurtz, Kevin Kurtz, Keith Kurtz; great-grandchildren, Drew Lee Wilson and Jacey Anna Wilson; 10 step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elias M. Fletcher.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Perry Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 Monday at the Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashsburn.
