A man was arrested for growing marijuana after plants in his yard were spotted from the air by the Georgia State Patrol, said Ware County Sheriff’s Capt. Carl James.
Arrested was Gregory Reynolds, 53, of Leonard Lane, charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, James said.
A GSP pilot and spotter flying over Dixie Union saw several marijuana plants growing behind a small building at a residence on Leonard Lane, James said. When deputies on the ground arrived at the residence, they found Reynolds hiding behind a clump of bushes, and growing amongst the bushes were marijuana plants, James said.
He was arrested and taken to the Ware County jail, James said.
