A juvenile was arrested Monday in connection with the circulation of three forged $100 bills, Ware County Sheriff’s Capt. Neil Skerritt said.
Detectives Clay Carter and Scott Manning worked a lead on the counterfeit bills after two turned up at a store in the 2000 block of Walter Street and another in the 2500 block of Plant Avenue, Skerritt said. All three bills carried the same serial number, he added.
A 14-year-old boy was arrested and after consultation with juvenile authorities was released to the custody of his parents, Skerritt said.
