Three people were arrested on felony drug charges Tuesday afternoon when lawmen executed a search warrant at a house in the 700 block of Marion Street and the search turned up supplies of various controlled substances, said Ware County Sheriff’s Capt. Neil Skerratt.
Randy Lee Teston, 36, John Alan Bennett, 44, and Stacey Nicole Douglas, 40, all of the 700 block of Marion Street, were taken into custody by Detective Blake Lewis, Sgt. Robert Weiss, Detective James Cox, Detective Missy Thrift, Deputy Zabrae Williams, Deputy Dakota York and probation officer Tasha Roberts, said Skerratt.
Teston is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of suboxone with intent to distribute, possession of hydrocodone, possession of drug related objects, felony possession of methamphetamine and a second count of possession of Schedule III suboxone with intent to distribute, said Skerratt.
Bennett is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects, said Skerratt.
Douglas is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects, said Skerratt.
Detective Freddy Henderson and Ware County Police Officer Jennifer Weiss also participated in the search.
All three were booked into the Ware County jail where they remained this morning. Skerratt said they were expected to appear before a magistrate some time today.
