Charles Daniel Orange
MIAMI, Fla. — Charles Daniel Orange, 74, of Miami, Fla., passed away Sunday (Feb. 17, 2019).
Born in Waycross June 22, 1944, he lived in Waycross and graduated from Center High School.
After high school, he relocated to Miami, Fla., where he became employed with Seaboard Coast Line (now CSX) Railroad and then to Amtrak. He retired after 32 years.
He was the son of Alice H. Orange, of Waycross, and the late Daniel Orange.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Orange; two sons, Charles Orange Jr. and Jerome Orange.
He was the oldest of five brothers and four sisters, Fred (Roberta) Orange, New, Jersey, Barbara (Artis) Roach, Waycross, Doyle (Margaret) Orange, Toronto, Canada, Susie (Stevie) Henderson, Rochester, N.Y., Blondie (Jimmy) Orange, Rochester, N.Y., Dan Orange Jr., Waycross, Margarette Kemp, Miami, Fla., Jerry Orange, Atlanta, and Jimmy Orange, Atlanta. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 10 a.m. at Bethany Church, 2500 N.W. 50 St., Miami, Fla.

Helen Deloris Johnson
Helen Deloris Johnson, 54, died Wednesday morning (Feb. 20, 2019) at the Miller County Nursing Home in Colquitt, following an extended illness.
She was a Waycross native.
Friends and family are being received at the Believers Walk of Faith, 801 Tebeau St., from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday.
All food and donations will be received Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The church, The Believers Walk of Faith, 801 Tebeau St., will also be open Saturday at 8 a.m. for additional food and donations.

Betty Hayman Goble
Betty Hayman Goble, 88, passed away this morning (Feb. 26, 2019) at Baptist Village.

Wanda Faye Anderson
Wanda Faye Anderson, 71, died Sunday morning (Feb. 24, 2019) at Landmark Hospital in Savannah following an extended illness.
She was a native of Douglas, and she lived most of her life in Ware County.
She was the wife of the late Ronald Lee Anderson. She was preceded in death by her father, Iran William Fales Sr., and a brother, Iran William Fales Jr.
She was a former seamstress with Waycross Sportswear and Fales Garment. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include two sons, Greg Eunice (Lisa), of Waycross, and Craig Eunice, of Jacksonville, Fla.; her mother, Wanell Sears Fales, of the Bickley community; a nephew, Ira Luke Fales (wife, Dana), of the Bickley Community; two grandchildren, Austin Eunice, of Savannah, and Brianna Chapman (husband, Brian), of Waycross; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Music Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery near the Bickley Community.
The family will receive friends this evening from 6 until 8 o’clock at Music Funeral Home.

A funeral for Emerick Sherman “Rick” McDaniel II was held Monday afternoon at Music Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Oliver officiating.
Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery.
Jessie Holmes served as pallbearer.
