A dog fighting suspect, Terry Driggers, 69, of Terri Way, Hoboken, was arrested Thursday by U.S. marshals on a warrant stemming from an incident that occurred in another jurisdiction, said Brantley County Sheriff Len Davis.
He said Driggers was suspected in a case occurring “some time earlier in Sumter County.”
Driggers was being held in the Ware County jail on charges of conspiracy and animal fighting, a felony, according to the Ware County jail roster. The booking agent was listed as the U.S. Marshals Service.
Davis said the arrest had “… nothing to do with any activity in Brantley County. It was just a warrant they had on him from another jurisdiction.”
