Ernestine T. White
A celebration of life service for Ernestine T. White, 61, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Northside Church of Christ, 1507 Martin Luther King Drive, with the church pastor, Minster Robert Atkinson, giving the eulogy, and the Rev. Isaac D. White offering words of comfort.
She was born Feb. 22, 1955 in Orlando, Fla. to the late Ernest Thompson and Pearl Broome Jones. She received her formal education from the public school system of Orlando where she graduated from high school.
She was joined in holy matrimony to the Rev. Isaac D. White and to this union a son was born, Ernest.
She lived in Virginia Beach, Va., for many years where she was employed in the administration department of a local hospital. After moving to Waycross six years ago, she was employed in the same position with Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross.
She accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was a faithful member of Northside Church of Christ.
She had a sweet and loving spirit. Her congenial charter won a place in the hearts of those privileged to have known her.
She departed this life on Monday (Nov. 28, 2016) at Altamaha Healthcare Center in Jesup after an illness.
Those left to cherish her memory include a son, Ernest White, of Indianapolis, Ind.; her former husband, the Rev. Isaac D. White, of Indianapolis, Ind.; three sisters, Shirley Abdullah (Leonard), of Winston-Salem, N.C., Candance Williams (Rodney) and Carmen J. Greenberg, both of Springfield, Mass.; two brothers, Kenneth Broome, of Winston-Salem, N.C., and William McCorn, of Springfield, Mass.; two grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Major Everett Elisha ‘Bubba’ Pritchard Jr.
FLOWERY BRANCH — Major Everett Elisha “Bubba” Pritchard Jr., 90, of Flowery Branch, passed away Wednesday night (Nov. 30, 2016) at his residence.
Born in Fitzgerald, he was the son of Everett Elijah and Eloise McCranie Pritchard Sr. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jean Griffin James Pritchard, step-son, Jay James, granddaughter, Kelly Denise Lee, a brother, Judge M.C. Pritchard, and a sister, Louise Faulk.
Major Everett retired from the United States Air Force after 27 years where he served in WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He received a bachelor degree in engineering from Georgia Tech and the University of Nebraska.
He was a loving father, grandfather and uncle who always had a smile on his face. He loved telling and playing jokes, watching Georgia Tech football, fishing and was an avid golfer before his health declined.
Survivors include his son, Craig Pritchard, of Flowery Branch; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy Pritchard Dowis Cohran (Larry), of Dawsonville; two step-children, Jeannie McFarland and Ginger James; two grandchildren, Adrienne Dowis Terrell (Chris) and Evan Nick Cohran (Danielle Jordan); four great-grandchildren, Isaac Dean, Aiden Terrell, Heather Cohran and Ethan Everett Terrell; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A graveside service with military honors will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock at Oakland Cemetery in Waycross with the Rev. Kit Brinson officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Oakland Cemetery.

Gardie Lee
Gardie Lee, 52, of Pearson, passed away Thursday (Dec. 1, 2016) at his home in Pearson, following an extended illness.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Remnant Church of God in Waycross, with Bishop Alton Carter, Bishop George Moxley and the Rev. Caleb Lancaster officiating.
Visitation will be this evening from 6 until 9 o’clock at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson.
