WARE COUNTY — Charles Clayton Clark, 35, passed away peacefully, Friday, June 4, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family after battling an extended illness. Clark was a native and lifelong resident of Ware County having graduated from Ware County High School in 2003. He was a member of Pineview Baptist Church and was an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. Clark was employed by Walker Jones as a mechanic. He and his brother also enjoyed their cooking business, Smokin Brothers BBQ Catering. Survivors include his daughter, Elena Clark; his parents, Ricky Clark, Sr. and Charlotte Herndon Clark of Waresboro; twin brother, Ricky Clark, Jr. (Amanda) of Waresboro; sister, Amanda Perritt (Chris) of Waresboro; nieces and nephews, Cody, Collin, and Kaitlynn Perritt, Rubin, Grayson, and Kayleigh Clark; the mother of his children, Marikay Clark; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral was held Sunday, June 6, at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Telmore Cemetery.
