WAYCROSS — Betty Ann King, 69, died Saturday morning, October 10, 2020, at Haven Hospice in Orange Park, Florida. She was a native and lifelong resident of Waycross having graduated from Ware County High School in 1968. Betty retired from Baptist Village Retirement Communities. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Allbritton and Betty Herndon Musgrove, former husband, Jack King, brother, Henry William “Billy” Albritton, and sister, Judy Golden. Survivors include one son, Brad King of Waycross; two grandchildren, Darby and Lydia King; siblings, Greg Musgrove (Diane Cannon Musgrove), of Waycross, Dee Dee Clark, of Ohio, Kathy Bateman, Lavern Grover (the late Ronnie), Jeannie Middleton (Jesse) and Pearl Kearson (Morris), all of Waycross; best friend, Shirley Christian; son, Everett J. King III (late wife Denise), of Waycross; two grandchildren, Scott King and Tiffany Ebersole; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 15, at the Music Funeral Home Chapel.
