Billie Jean Moskovitz
COCOA BEACH, Fla. — Billie Jean Moskovitz died Thursday (Aug. 27, 2015).
A graveside service will be held this morning at 11 o’clock at Greenlawn Cemetery in Waycross.
She was born in Hoboken to Edith and Sterling Moore. She was a resident of Cocoa Beach, Fla., for 30 years.
She worked for Crawford & Company in Jacksonville, Fla., for 20 years. She was promoted to office manager in the Crawford & Co. branch office In Cocoa, Fla., in 1985. She became the first female office manager in Crawford and Co.
She enjoyed her home and loved numerous cruises with her husband, Gerald.
Her memory is cherished by her husband, Gerald Moskovitz; daughter, Alice Green, Florida; sisters, Sue Carol and Marsh (Richard); two grandchildren, Bradley Green (Jennifer), Tiffany Jarvis (Jesse), of Florida; five great-grandchildren, Kayla Green, Ryan Green, Genevieve, Meredith and Molly Jarvis; many dear and devoted friends, plus all her Crawford & Co. friends.
She loved all of them and all of them loved her.
Arrangements are with Beckman Williamson Funeral Home.
Ellen Martin Davis
A funeral for Ellen Martin Davis was held Friday morning at First Baptist Church of Blackshear with the Rev. Bill Young and the Rev. Porky Haynes officiating.
Burial will follow at a later date in Westover Cemetery in Augusta.
Pallbearers were Marvin Powers, Larry Carter, Paul Tang, Mark Deal, Steve Boatright and Burley Davis.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Followers Sunday School Class and Delta Kappa Gamma teachers sorority.
Miles-Odum Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
