A Warner Robins woman was hurt Monday when her car was hit by another at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Blackshear Avenue, said Waycross Police Capt. Tommy Cox.
Jacklyn Moriarty, 55, was taken by Ware County Emergency Medical Service ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross for treatment of unspecified injuries she sustained in the 5:43 p.m. accident, said Cox.
Katelyn Dewberry, 27, of Waycross, was cited for a stop sign violation after her 2000 Buick car skidded through the intersection on wet pavement, said Cox. Dewberry’s car struck the passenger side of Moriarty’s 2014 Honda Accord.
Officer Jay Lee was in charge of the investigation.
