A woman was arrested Tuesday morning after she threw a pumpkin and shattered the windshield of a pickup truck in the 800 block of South Augusta Avenue, said Ware County Sheriff Detective Neil Skerratt.
Brenda Sharpe, 58, was taken into custody and charged with criminal damage to property, said Skerratt.
At 5 a.m. Tuesday, Ware County deputies were dispatched to a house in the 800 block of South Augusta Avenue, the occupant reporting that they had heard a tremendously loud and sudden noise outside their home. The victim then discovered his windshield destroyed and a pumpkin lying on the ground beside the truck.
Sharpe was then asked to leave the property.
A short time later, she returned and continued to disrupt the area. At that time, deputies returned and took her into custody. She was being held in the Ware County jail.
