Ware County commissioners will hold a mid-month work session Monday at 2 p.m., followed by a called meeting at 2:30 p.m.
Both meetings are open to the public. They are scheduled to be held at the Ware County Courthouse in the second-floor conference room.
The board will discuss House Bill 1108 amending the Waycross and Ware County Development Authority and the appointment of board members.
Other items listed on the work session agenda for discussion include a request to approve a contract with Georgia Department of Transportation for engineering design services at Waycross-Ware County Airport, a request to approve condemnation of Parcel No. 034C02 016 on Wooddell Drive for the purpose of paving and drainage of Wooddell Ridge Road and Wooddell Drive.
Also, a request to renew the annual contract with McKinney Community Health Center to provide nutrition services to the Nelson Green Senior Citizen’s Center, a request to appoint an individual to the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Regional Advisory Council, a request to approve a beer and wine consumption off premises license for Solar Food No. 25, 3900 Brunswick Highway, Waycross, and a request to approve MSI Benefits Group, Inc as broker of record for all Ware County insurance products beginning in FY17.
Any or all of the work session items may be moved to the called meeting agenda for action.
