The Ware County Commission will have a full plate of agenda items to discuss and address as they hold three meetings Monday in the Ware County Commission Chambers, a work session at 2 p.m., a public hearing at 4 p.m. and the regular meeting at 5 p.m.
Several guests will address the board at the work session including Brantley County Commission chairman Charlie Summerlin, New Beginnings Transitional Center representative Pamela Smith and Carl Sears, who resides on North River Road in Waycross.
It is not known what topics the guests have on their minds.
Business items listed on the work session agenda include discussion of election qualifying fees, annual appointments to the Ware  County Board of Assessors Post 1, an ex-officio rep to the Okefenokee Regional Library Board, appointment of Artelia Weatherspoon to the Ware County Recreation Board to fill an expired term of Alton Bennett, appointment to the Waycross-Ware County Development Authority to fill an expired term, appointments to the Ware County Board of Zoning and Appeals for three expired terms (those of Jeff Jones, Kristy King Foreman and Burton Carter).
County clerk Lisa Ralls is expected to be re-named to her post for the coming year, as will county attorney Tony Rowell (Hall-Booth-Smith).
Rodney Music will be appointed for a post on the Ware County Board of Health.
Two joint resolutions between the City of Waycross, Ware County Commission and Ware County Board of Education will be considered.
Commissioners will consider a request to approve the purchase of a four-inch diaphragm pump from Discount Equipment with 2014 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax funds for the Ware County Public Works Department.
The Okefenokee Regional Library has requested replacement of the HVAC system there and the commissioner will have two ordinances to consider, one concerning timber harvesting notification and the other concerning mobile home decal requirements.
The public hearing is being held for the purpose of addressing a zoning text amendment.
All three meetings are open to the public.
