The Ware County Commission will meet at 2 p.m. Monday for its monthly work session, followed by the regular meeting at 5 p.m. in the Ware County Commission Chambers.
Items included on the work session agenda are a request from Republic Services to increase residential services billing rate, adopt an amended FY 2016 budget, to consider approval of a CDBG agreement with Statewide Engineering for street and drainage improvements (to Cameron Lane, Cate Drive and Haylee Way), a request to purchase a Hyundai R220 LC 9A excavator from Grove River Machinery in Richmond Hill (not to exceed $134,950), a declaration of surplus or obsolete equipment for sale, a request to approve a resolution to support the Satilla River Water Trail for Ware County and a request to re-appoint Nathaniel Houseal to the Ware County Board of Assessors Post 2.
No items have been listed on the regular agenda but it is anticipated that some of the business conducted during the work session will be moved to that agenda.
Both meetings are open to the public.
