OFFERMAN — Three people were injured Saturday in a collision at the intersection of Offerman Loop and Birmingham Avenue, said the Georgia State Patrol.
Donna Dixon, 68, of Blackshear, and Jordan Willingham, 18, of Patterson, and a passenger in the Willingham truck, Carl Moody, 17, of Blackshear, were taken by ambulance to Waycross, said Steve Drury, GSP spokesman.
Driving a 1989 Chevrolet pickup truck, Willingham was westbound on Birmingham Avenue. Drury said Dixon, driving a 2005 Honda Oddysey (van) was headed north on Offerman Loop. Willingham failed to stop at a stop sign and drove into the path of the van.
