BLACKSHEAR — A Blackshear woman was arrested Wednesday for shoplifting at the Dollar General store here and was also charged with felony drug possession after lawmen found her in possession of Schedule II and Schedule IV drugs, said Blackshear Police Chief Chris Wright.
Misty Davlin, 34, of Blackshear, was taken into custody by Officer Jason White and Officer Danny Bohannon and charged with possession of Schedule II drugs, oxycodone and adderrall, and possession of Schedule IV drug, clonezpam, as well as possession of drugs not in their original container and theft by shoplifting, said Wright.
She was taken to the Pierce County jail where she remained this morning, Wright said.
“Officer White and Officer Bohannon were dispatched to the Dollar General at 9:42 p.m. where the clerk had observed her shoplifting, opening packages of items and stuffing the products into her purse,” said Wright. “When they checked her person, they also found the Schedule IV and II drugs and a mirror with residue on it.”
