‘Donnie’ Prescott
Donald Ray “Donnie” Prescott, 57, of Brunswick, passed away Thursday (Sept. 24, 2015).
He was born Sept. 25, 1957 in Folkston to the late Donald Pierce Prescott and Dorothy Latrelle Harrell Prescott.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of Folkston and a graduate of Charlton County High School class of 1976.  He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  He has been employed with Gulfstream Aerospace Inc for the past 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Flowers Prescott; three daughters,  Kristen Prescott, Kimberly Prescott, Kaitlyn Prescott; one son,  Andrew Anderson (Sabrina); two grandchildren, Mikayla and Hailey Anderson;  one sister,  Pam Wildes (Ransel); one brother,  Ronnie Prescott (Jenny); his mother and father-in-law,  Ed and Mary Louise Flowers; nephews, Justin Thrift, Tyler Flowers and Jay Flowers.
The family will receive friends this evening at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston from 6 until 8 o’clock.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Folkston with the Rev. Randy Jacoby and the Rev. Gene McCullough officiating.  Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery.

Ruby Lee Hurst Helms
Ruby Lee Hurst Helms, 85, passed away Thursday (Sept. 24, 2015).
She was born July 19, 1930, in Cleveland, Tenn. She moved from Waycross and has spent most of her life in the beaches area.
She was the previous owner and operator of First Coast Accounting for many years. She was an active member of Ponte Vedra Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed greeting those who came to Sunday morning services. She also enjoyed politics, dancing and painting. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Hurst DuPree Bragg (Dennis) and Kelly Hurst Worthley (Scott); six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, M.St. Donald Bruce Hurst, and her son, PFC James Randolph “Randy” Hurst.
Visitation will be held from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday at Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery.

Billy Lee Haynes Sr.
A funeral for Billy Lee Haynes Sr. was held Friday morning at Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ben Smith and the Rev. Porky Haynes officiating.
Entombment followed in Greenlawn Mausoleum.
Pallbearers were Jeremy Haynes, Billy Haynes III, Thomas Deane and Matt Peters.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Central Baptist Church’s Senior Adult Sunday School classes.
Miles-Odum Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Willa Mae Lee
A funeral for Willa Mae Lee was held Wednesday at Bickley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. J. Felton Harden and the Rev. Glenn Rainey officiating.
Burial was in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Bryant Brooks, Kenneth Carbaugh, Andrew Danner, David Denton, Christopher Geralds and Reggie Johnson.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Dewitt Courson, Ashley Denton, William Denton, Billy Lee, Joe Lee, Bernie Moore, Walt Simpson, Maurice Smith and Gene Thomas.
