Robert “Red” Inman, 89, passed peacefully Tuesday evening (Sept. 22, 2015) at Hospice Satilla.

Howard Fancher, 94, died Tuesday morning (Sept. 22, 2015) at Westminster Woods on Julington Creek in Jacksonville, Fla., following an extended illness.

Alonzo Jeffery Brown
Alonzo Jeffery Brown, 41, of Waycross died early Thursday morning (Sept. 17, 2015).
He was born in Waycross to Alonzo Jeffery Bell Sr. and Cynthia Brown Cooper. He made Waycross his home for his entire life. He loved his family and friends, and enjoyed any time he was able to spend with them. He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother, Cynthia Brown Cooper, of Atlanta; his children, Aquasha Brown, Antonio Bolds, Johnnie McGahee, Precious Simon, Alonzo Jeffery Brown Jr., Zoey Booth, Mion Booth, Quandarius Kennedy, Jasmine Bolds, Treasure Saunders, Jeamere Saunders, Kenadee Brown, Rashod Brown and Matthew Cobb; 11 grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Ashanti Green, Alonzo Jeffery Bell Jr., Kena Cooper, Kenneth Cooper, Michelle Love (and her husband Richard), Alexis Bell, Jessica Bell, Anthony Dixon and Chelsia Reaves; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday in Oakland Cemetery.

A memorial service for Arney L. Herrin Jr. was held Tuesday afternoon at Music Funeral Home Chapel with Wes James officiating.

James Alvin Pearson
BLACKSHEAR — A funeral service for James Alvin Pearson, 86, of Blackshear, took place Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Beulah Baptist Church with the Rev. Loren Bryant and the Rev. Sam Quick officiating.
Serving as pallbearers were Mike Peacock, Michael Sapp, John Strickland, Wesley Mattox, James Mock and Eddie Head.
Burial followed in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Hart Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
