Constance Pharr
Constance Elizabeth Bennett Pharr left to be with her saviour Saturday (Sept. 17, 2016).
She was born in Roanoke, Va., the 11th child of 12, on Feb. 1, 1936 to Rush Thomas Bennett and Eula Gay Houchins Bennett.
She married Cecil O. Pharr Jr. on Aug. 12, 1955. She retired from Equifax and was a dedicated member of Peachtree Christian Church where it became evident she had a true servant’s heart for those in need.
She was the beloved “Mom” to Jennifer Pharr Glover (Greg) and Cecil O. Pharr III (Nancy) and the very beloved “Grandmommy” to Phillip Gregory Glover, Chelsea Olivia Pharr Hagopian (Tom), Matthew Bennett Glover and Cecil O. Pharr IV. Also surviving are her dear sisters, Gladys Bennett Burdette and Dorothy Bennett Hogan; and many loved nieces and nephews.
Gone on before her are her dear sisters, Lucy Bennett Chisom, Evelyn Bennett Sledd and Virginia Bennett Smith, and her dear brothers, Ed Bennett, Richie Bennett, Irving Bennett, Charles Bennett, Joe Bennett and Eldridge Bennett.
The funeral will be conducted Saturday at 2 o’clock in the afternoon at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel (in Sandy Springs) with longtime dear friend, the Rev. Jim Bell, officiating. Entombment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Peachtree Christian Church, 1580 Peachtree St. NE, Atlanta, Ga. 30309.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation and a reception with the family Friday from 6 until 8 o’clock in the evening at H. M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, NE, Sandy Springs, Ga. 30328.

Joseph Mark Davis
Joseph Mark Davis, 52, died Monday night (Sept. 19, 2016) at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla., following an extended illness.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced late by Music Funeral Home.

Robert E. Bennett
BLACKSHEAR — The funeral for Robert Edward Bennett, 73, was held Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock at Youmans Chapel Baptist Church.
Officiating were the Rev. Randall Gunter and the Rev. Ronnie Owens.
Interment was in the Ben James Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were his grandsons, Caleb Mattox, Richie Herrin, Moose Walker, Josh Beahan, Kenneth Bennett, Brandon Mancil and Chris Braddy.
Pearson-Dial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
