A traffic stop for a seatbelt violation Wednesday afternoon resulted in four people being charged with drug violations among other things, said Ware County Sheriff Randy Royal.
Bobby Shane Revels, 28, of Turkey Lane, is charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug related objects, Casey Lamar Hyde, 25, of Chula, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug related objects and giving a false name (Donald McKinney), Sabrina Joyce Carter (the driver), 34, of Nicholls, is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects, and Johnathan Trey Green, 22, of Evergreen Road, is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects, said Royal.
After being given consent to search the vehicle, a gold Ford Explorer, Deputy James Cox, Deputy Ethan Murray and Deputy Brian Newman found a large bag with a metal smoking pipe containing marijuana, a spoon containing crystal meth, several hypodermic needles, one with liquid methamphetamine, a bag of methamphetamine and several other smoking devices, said Royal.
All four were taken to the Ware County jail where they remained this morning.
The traffic stop was effected at 1:30 p.m. on Gorman Road.
