•Vehicle theft: a black 2008 Ford Ranger valued at $9,000 was reported stolen between 8 p.m. Thursday and 1 o’clock this morning at a business in the 1700 block of State Street; the owner went to check on the truck and noticed it missing from where it was parked; he told lawmen he thought at first it was a practical joke but then realized the truck was missing; Cpl. Bill Thomas responded to the call and talked with the complainant; Ware County detectives are investigating.
•Vehicle theft: a camo-colored E-Z Go golf cart was reported stolen at a location in the 2500 block of Sweat Road between Oct. 21 and Thursday; Deputy Clay Carter met with the complainant Thursday to take the report and a neighbor gave a description of a vehicle that may have possibly been involved in the theft; Ware County detectives are investigating.
