•Burglary: a Remington 1100 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun, a Marlin .22-caliber rifle, an LG flat screen TV, a fabric container, some tools, change and ammunition were stolen out of a house in the 100 block of Banks Lane between 6 a.m. and 8:20 p.m. Monday; the homeowner had been working all day at his place of employment and when he returned home, he discovered his house had been entered; Ware County Deputy Cpl. Ethan Murray found evidence of forced entry; Ware County detectives are investigating.
•Theft: a red Ford Bronco was reported stolen in the 500 block of Reed Street between Thursday and Saturday; the owner was out of town; he told police he had all the keys to the vehicle with him but left the doors unlocked, assuming someone entered it and hot-wired it; Waycross police are investigating.
•Vehicle burglary: a wallet was reported stolen out of a vehicle parked at a business in the 200 block of Pendleton Street between 3 and 3:05 p.m. Friday; the owners, who live in Alma, discovered when they returned home to Alma that the wallet had been stolen; Waycross police are investigating.
•Vehicle burglary: a man driving through the 800 block of Coral Road between 9:50 and 10:05 p.m. Sunday saw a black male duck behind a trash can and noticed that a door of a car parked at the location was standing open; the man turned around and notified the owner that he apparently had been targeted by an auto burlar; nothing appeared to have been stolen, however; the suspect had left the area by the time Waycross police arrived.
