Parking changes at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross will create easier access for patients and visitors. The parking lots have been re-zoned, creating more convenient parking for patients and visitors. With the addition of more than 30 new physicians and advanced practitioners since January 2014, the local health system anticipates a 20 percent growth in patient volume over the next year. The hospital’s staff now parks near the Annex Building, allowing the front parking lot on Tebeau Street, as well as the side parking lot between Tebeau and Alice streets, to be used for patients and visitors. The multiple lots on the Waycross campus now offer more patient and visitor parking. New parking lot signs will be installed in coming weeks. Parking changes are marked by color: red, patient and visitor parking; blue, staff; black, physician and advanced practitioners; green, vendor-contractor; and yellow, emergency vehicles.
