Thomas Edward Inman
BLACKSHEAR — Thomas Edward Inman, 66, of Blackshear, died Tuesday morning (Oct. 20, 2015) at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born Sept. 21, 1949 in Douglas and grew up in Pearson. He and his family lived in Virginia for many years before moving to Blackshear in 1994.
He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy for 23 years as a hospital corpsman. During his time in the Navy, he attended optician school in 1975 and then worked for Eye Care 1 and Vision First in Waycross.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lorenzo Kenneth Inman, and his brother, Joseph Kenneth Inman.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Patricia Inman, of Blackshear; his three daughters, Amy Vollmer, of Port Allegheny, Pa., Sheila Inman, of Blackshear and Rebecca Palmer (husband Stump), of Blackshear; his mother, Ruth “Murray” Inman Amonds; seven grandchildren, Dalton Crosby, Gracie and Van Palmer, Cheyan and Austin Breeden, all of Blackshear, and Casey and Reese Vollmer, of Port Allegheny, Pa.; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hart Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Waters Cemetery in Blackshear.
The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Michael Dale Jordan
Michael Dale “Mad Dog” Jordan, 56, died Tuesday morning (Oct. 20, 2015) at his residence in Nahunta after an extended illness.
He was a native of Waycross where he was formerly employed by CSX Railroad and Southland Waste.
He was the son of the late Joe Jordan Jr. and Myrna Loy White.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Ann Jordan; three daughters, Ashley Jordan (Keith Ivey), Brandy James (Craig), and Arminda Durrance (Clay); seven grandchildren, Lizzie Tuttle, Alexis James, Abbie Durrance, Layton Durrance, Miley James, Colt James and Ella Durrance; four siblings, Danny Jordan (Jeannine), Jean Bolin (Butch), Tim Jordan (Becky) and Kim McClain (Jerry); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Music Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Julian Martin Wilson, 69, died Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 20, 2015) at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, Ala. following a short illness.
