Clyde W. Carter Jr.
Clyde William Carter Jr., 64, died Friday morning (Nov. 27, 2015) at Hospice Satilla Hospice House after a brief illness.
He was a native of Waycross, and graduated from ABAC in Tifton. He was formerly employed by Southern Bell. He retired as a computer technician of commercial computers.
He was the son of the late Clyde William Carter Sr. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Guy Meeks.
Survivors include two daughters, Jody Binaca Carter, of Orange Park, Fla., and Brittany Nicole Carter, of Atlanta; one grandchild, Kirsten Anne Carter; one great-grandchild; his mother, Wilma Agnes Cox Carter Meeks, of Waycross; three sisters, Linda Bryant (Bobby), of Waycross, Patsy Bohanon (Otis), of Nahunta, and Susan Fowler (Mark), of Blackshear; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at the Music Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
