Emma B. Cselle
Erma Bresciani Cselle, 96, of Blackshear, died early Friday morning (Nov. 11, 2016) at the Baptist Village Retirement Communities following an extended illness.
Born Dec. 7, 1919 in Springfield, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Caroline Porupski Bresciani. She lived many years in Akron, Ohio before moving to Pierce County in 1978. She worked at Goodyear Aerospace and retired from McNeil Engineering in Akron. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Blackshear and was a former member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Waycross.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ed Cselle, and all of her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a son, Bill Cselle (wife, Margaret), of Blackshear; two grandchildren, Shawn Cselle (wife, Stephanie), of Ellijay, and Tracy Thornton (husband, Kerry), of Blackshear; three great-grandchildren, Garrett Thornton (wife, Tori), of Blackshear, Ty Cselle (wife, Brittany), and Chandler Cselle, both of Ellijay; three great-great-grandchildren, Gage Thornton, of Blackshear, Bennett Cselle and Grayson Cselle, both of Ellijay; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service will take place at a later date.
Memorialization is by cremation.

Annie Mae Mercer
A funeral for Annie Mae Welch Mercer was held Friday afternoon at Kettle Creek Congregational Methodist Church with the Rev. Danny Callahan and Stephanie Smith officiating.
Burial followed in Kettle Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Tony Rowland, Daryle Singletary, Terry Mercer Jr., Nic Glasgow, Travis Chumley and Vedad Arslanagic`.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross Auxiliary.
Miles-Odum Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
