Patricia Ann Crews
Patricia Ann Williams Crews, 73, of Hilliard, Fla., passed away Tuesday (Nov. 10, 2015) at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 9, 1942 in Nahunta, daughter of the late Willie Williams and Lizzie Knox Williams Lee. She was a member of River’s Edge Church in Hilliard, Fla.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Stanley Crews, a sister, Annie Grace May, and a brother, Billy Williams.
She is survived by her five children, Jackie Lee Johns Aldridge, Patsy J. Wilson, Susan Renee Johns Lee, Benjamin “Benji” Deryl Johns (Amanda), and Mary Ellen Johns Whiten; 15 grandchildren, Stetson Aldridge, Shane Aldridge, Cassidy Aldridge, Brooklyn Wilson Hunter (Ernest), Briant Lee, Harrison Lee (Logan), Mallie Lee, Branden Johns, Austen Johns (Kayla), Trenten Johns, Dillon Johns, Holden Whiten (Andrea), Brock Whiten, Kristin Varnes and Victoria Beasley; two great-grandchildren, Layten Johns and Brynlee Whiten, and a baby boy to be born in February; three sisters, Jo Ann Grace, Pearl Weeks and Sue Sheppard; two brothers, James Williams and Tim Williams (Loredda); and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Friday at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston from 6 until 8 p.m.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shepard Funeral Home with the Rev. Monroe Gill and the Rev. Gerald Wollitz officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in the Raybon Community of Brantley County.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Stetson Aldridge, Shane Aldridge, Briant Lee, Harrison Lee, Branden Johns, Austen Johns, Trenten Johns, Dillon Johns, Holden Whiten and Brock Whiten.

Elizabeth Linen
A celebration of life service for Elizabeth Diane Halman Linen, 65, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, 702 Arnold McKinney Drive, where the Rev. Fer-Rell Malone is pastor.
The body will lie in state in the church from noon until the service hour.
Public visitation will be from 3 until 8 p.m. Friday at Perry Brothers Funeral Home.
She passed away Thursday (Nov. 5, 2015) at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Willie “Headman” Linen, a sister, Barbara Vemable, and a brother, Michael Halman.
She was born Sept. 15, 1950 in Waycross, to the late Willie Halman and Mary Williams Halman. A native of Waycross, she lived most of her life in Georgetown, S.C. She was a graduate of Center High School class of 1968. She was employed by the Magnolia House. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Willie “Doug” Pope, of Waycross; a son, Marcus Linen (Shenika), of Covington; a daughter, Andrea Linen, of Waycross; three grandchildren, Javontre’ Lanier, Jaedon Linen and Sanai Linen; four brothers, William Halman (Sallie), of Virginia, Vernon Halman (Willene), of Maryland, Edward Halman (Peggy), of Jacksonville, and Dean Halman (Andrea), of Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She also had many “adoptive” children.

Mary Eleanor Miller
Mary Eleanor Miller, 73, died Monday afternoon (Nov. 9, 2015) at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross after an extended illness.
She was a native of Bacon County and was formerly employed as a school teacher for King’s Way Christian School in Brunswick. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Nahunta.
She was the daughter of the late Henry H. Smith and Allie Mae Taylor Smith. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Henry F. Miller Sr., and her son, Henry F. Miller Jr.
Survivors include one daughter, Vicki Marie Dick, of Fresno, Calif.; two grandsons, Don Earl Johnson Jr. and Henry F. Miller III; five great-grandchildren; four siblings, Jacqueline Hamilton, of Brunswick, Roger Smith, of Springhill, Fla., Carolyn Dixon, of Alma, and Linda G. Manders, of Brunswick; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held 10 a.m. Saturday in the Music Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in Elizabeth Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Alma.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock at Music Funeral Home.

Evelyn Louise Smith, 76, died Wednesday (Nov. 11, 2015) evening at Hospice Satilla Hospice House following an extended illness.

Shanique S. Bellamy
The funeral for Shanique Shanice “Shay” Bellamy will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary of First Born Church, 1120 H.J. Echols Drive, Waycross, where Bishop Michael H. Flynn, is pastor and Minister Joseph Bellamy will serve as eulogist.
Burial will follow in the Hoboken City Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 until 7 p.m. in the sanctuary of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 901 Ossie Davis Parkway, Waycross, where Jackie Hooper is the pastor.
The cortege will assemble at Owens Street at 10:15 a.m. Saturday.
The family is currently receiving friends at the residence.
She was born March 21, 1991 in Waycross to Latonya Miles (Franz) and Nathan White. She was educated in the school system of Ware County and graduated in the class of 2002. She enjoyed taking care of home and her children. She departed this life on Nov. 7, 2015 along with her unborn son, Elijah Bellamy.
She leaves to cherish her memories three sons, Ahmad McElroy, Kameron Davis and Jamarquis Bellamy; her mother, Latonya Miles (Franz); her father, Nathan White; a great-grandmother, Sherry Butler; and a host of sisters, brothers, uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and caring friends.

Eunice Louise Jackson walked into everlasting life Sunday (Nov. 8, 2015).
Born in Ware County, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Jackson Sr., a son, Ronnie, three siblings, Charlie Lee Moore, Booker T. Moore and Mabel Moore-Martin.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at New Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 901 Ossie Davis Parkway with visitation starting at noon.
Burial will follow at the Oakland Cemetery.
Visitation will be this evening from 5 to 7 o’clock at Welch & Brinkley Mortuary.
The cortege will assemble at the home of Cleveland Moore, 900 Dorothy St., at 12:30 p.m. Friday.

Paulk, of Waycross, Letha Jones, of Virginia, and Clara Bryant, of Hinesville; 11 grandchildren, Rhonda Jackson-White (WIlliam Jr.), of Greensboro, N.C., Ryan Khailer, of Denver, Colo., Lorie Jackson-Rainey (Jesse), of Greensboro, N.C., Jason Moultrie (Londa), of Las Vegas, Nev., Dasha Jackson, of Atlanta, Joe Jackson, of Bronx, N.Y., Ayo Jackson, of Marietta, and Ayana Jackson, of Richmond, Va.; 11 great-grandchildren, Miracle White-King (Edwin), William Charles White III, Majesty White, Reid Khailer, Dylan Khailer, Jesse Rainey III, Elias Rainey, Caleb Rainey, Autumn Rainey, Asia Marie Moultrie, Cameron Moultrie; two great-great-grandchildren, Edwin King Jr. and Eden King; a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives; and a host of friends.

A funeral for Simon Carlyle Sweat Sr. was held Wednesday morning at Beulah Baptist Church with the Rev. Sam Quick officiating.
Burial followed in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Randy Hyers, Andy Mattox, Scott Moody, Ben Sweat, Dennis Sweat and Sean Sweat.

A graveside funeral for Winnie C. Wade was held Wednesday afternoon at Oakland Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Page officiating.
Pallbearers were Wade Douglas, Kelly Griffis, Clayton Herndon, Dickie Minchew, Bruce Mobley and Marshall Wade.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were members of the Winona Park United Methodist Church Choir.
