Michelle M. Waters
Michelle Miracle Waters, 6, of Waycross, died Monday evening (March 2, 2015) at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross after an extended illness.
She was born in Waycross and lived here all of her life. She was in kindergarten at Wacona Elementary School and was a member of Walkerville Baptist Church in Pierce County.
Survivors include her parents, Troy Allen and Megan Quinn Waters, of Waycross; sisters, Emily Waters, Abigail Waters, Rebecca Waters, Sophie Waters and Chloe Potter; maternal grandmother, Debra and Jeff Sawyer, of Jacksonville, Fla.; maternal grandfather, Patrick Quinn, of New York; paternal grandfather, Jerome and Tina Gill, of Brunswick; several great-grandparents and other family members.
A funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 4 at Walkerville Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Ben James Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5 until 7 at the funeral home.

Benjamin S. Middleton
Benjamin S. Middleton, 80, passed away peacefully Monday morning (March 2, 2015) at his residence after an extended illness.
He was a native of Brunswick, but he was raised in Blackshear where he graduated from high school. After serving in the U.S. Army, he moved to Jacksonville, Fla., where he retired from Alton Boxboard as a plant supervisor.
Following retirement, he relocated to Waycross.
He was the son of the late Claude Corbett Middleton and Annie Phillips Riggins. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Shawn Harris.
Survivors include one daughter, Gail Harris (Billy Wilson), of Waycross; one son, Benji Middleton, of Waycross; one step-son, Ralph Hendrix (Megan), of Jacksonville, Fla.; four great-grandchildren, Courtney Harris, Sarah Harris, Matthew Harris and Katherine Harris; one step-granddaughter, Darby Hendrix; and one brother, David Haney, of Hickox; and numerous other relatives.
Memorialization is by cremation.

William Warren Knox, 86, of Blackshear, died Tuesday afternoon (March 3, 2015) at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House following an extended illness.

Willene Smith King
SCREVEN — Willene Smith King, 85, of Screven, died Tuesday (March 3, 2015) in Waycross, after an extended illness.
The Wayne County native was a member of Ritch Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed helping her predeceased husband, Elmer King, in the farming operations. She was also predeceased by her sister, Eloise Smith Rogers, and her brother, Carmon C. Smith.
Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Pat Lee Kimbrell (husband, Jackie), of Waycross; a son, Wayne King, of Port Wentworth; grandchildren, Mandi Wallace, of Jacksonville, Fla., Jonathan and Mary King, of Crystal River, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Emily Wallace, Tyler Wallace, Miranda King and Jonalyn King; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Ritch Baptist Church with the Rev. Jason Rowe, Durwood Miller and the Rev. Benji McReady officiating.
Interment will be in Ritch Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Joey Miller, Larry Barnes, Barry Barnes, Jerry King, Edward “Fish” King, Johnny King, Durwood Miller.
Honorary pallbearers will be friends, family and members of Ritch Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 2 until 3 p.m. Thursday prior to service at the church.

Joyce M. St. Germain, 81, died Tuesday morning (March 3, 2015) at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross after an extended illness.
She was born May 19, 1933 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Virgil H. Green and Betty Gist Green. She was a devoted and loving homemaker all her life.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Moskowitz, one son, David Grey, and one brother, Virgil Green Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond St. Germain, of Waycross; four daughters, Debbie Weiser (Barry), of Waycross, Pam Klipp, of Port Charlotte, Fla., Kim Spencer, of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Laurie Gordon (Ken), of Charlotte, N.C.; one daughter-in-law, Carolyn Grey, of Plantation, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Paul Weiser, Jeff Weiser, Meg Stephens, Ryan Spencer, Chad Spencer, Ronnie Tannenbaum, Rifka Coleman, Sydney Grey and Connor Grey; nine great-grandchildren; and three nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at the Music Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or American Heart Association.
