Edna Musgrove, 68, died Thursday night (March 19, 2015) at Hospice Satilla Hospice House after an extended illness.
She was a native of and lived most of her life in Waycross. She was a homemaker and member of Waresboro Church of God.
She was the daughter of the late E.C. Musgrove and Ethel Darley Musgrove. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Gilbert and Lois Whitley, and one brother, R.L. Musgrove.
Survivors include one sister, Gennell McQuaig (husband, Everett), of Waycross; one brother, Virgil Musgrove (wife, Earline), of Jacksonville, Fla.; special aunt, Louise Tillman (late husband, O.G.); and special nieces and nephews, who were the closest thing to her own children, Chris McQuaig (wife, Roxanne), Jason McQuaig (wife, Ashlea), Gennifer Hall (husband, Jimmy), and Billy Crews (wife, Sherry).
A funeral will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in High Bluff Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 6 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Marian E. Boyce
Marian Elaine Adams Boyce, 70, departed this life Tuesday morning (March 17, 2015) at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross after a brief illness.
She was the eldest child of the late Elliott Cobb Jr. and Daisy Ervin Cobb. She was born Sept. 7, 1944 in Waycross where she received her formal education from the public school system and attended Center High School.
She moved to Jacksonville, Fla., where she completed her secondary education and graduated from the public school system. She furthered her education at Albany State College.
She was the widow of the late MSgt. Pendleton Wright Boyce. During his military career she traveled various places throughout the world.
Her recent years were spent in Waycross. She was a former employee of Walmart and was a member of St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church. Her loving and quiet spirit was admired and loved by those than knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory include three children, Rodney Quinton Boyce (Bennetta), of San Antonio, Texas, Sonja Boyce, of Waycross, and Arturio Revelle Boyce, of Bluffton, S.C.; sisters, Beatrice Naidu (Daramaguru), of California, and Daisy Josey (Lucious), of Waycross; a brother, Kenneth Adams, of Waycross; three grandchildren, Simone Boyce, Quinton Boyce, Nakeisha Boya; one great-grandchild, Zander Boyce; other relatives and friends.
A private ceremony will be held Monday. Internment will be in West Tennessee Veteran Cemetery in Memphis, Tenn.
“The family of Marion Elaine Boyce express our gratitude and many thanks to each of you for your kindness, sympathy, visits and prayers during our bereavement. We are eternally grateful to all,” said a family member.
Friends are being received at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Lucious and Daisy Josey, 1407 E.L. Saunders Drive.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Fluker Funeral Home.
David Earl Scurry
A funeral for David Earl Scurry was held Friday morning at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Chancey officiating.
Burial followed at Swamp Road Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jason Donald Harris, Wayne Aaron Davis, Charles Davis, Charlie Thornton, Shayne Thornton, Tony Lopez and Randy Wilkinson.
Miles-Odum Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
