Caroline E. Campbell
Caroline Elaine Campbell, 64, passed away Saturday (June 6, 2015).
She was born to Wilbert Sr. and Martha Campbell, in Waycross, Sept. 24, 1950.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Ayinde Van Zandt (Chrisshawna); her grandchildren, Marshawn Van Zandt, Sabria Van Zandt, Krishaun Van Zandt, Shamar’ee Middlebrooks, Shawnrica White, Shae’linn Booker and Shakiya Baker; one great-grandson, Kaiden White; siblings, Wilbert Campbell Jr. and Larry Campbell (Mary); and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbert A. Campbell Sr., and a sister, Gwendolynn Hamiter.
A memorial service will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church, 3383 Tyre Bridge Road, Patterson, Wednesday at 11 a.m.
She was employed at Burger King, in Blackshear. She was a very loving person who enjoyed cooking and being on the computer.

Jean Kenady
Mrs. Jean Kenady, 82, died Sunday (June 7, 2015) at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross following a short battle with cancer.
She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and lived in Ohio before moving to Waycross almost 30 years ago. She was a homemaker.
She was a daughter of the late Harry Campbell and Maisie Mellon Campbell, and was married to the late Don Kenady.
She is survived by her two daughters, Lynn Kenady, of Atlanta, and Cindy Williamson, of Waycross; a granddaughter, Gwena Williamson, of Waycross; a sister, Sue Wall (Harry), of Pennsburg, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Marilyn McKinney (Ken), of Carnesville, Ga.; and four nephews, Rob Wall, Jeff McKinney, Tim McKinney and Mark McKinney.
A funeral will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday evening at Music Funeral Home from 6 until 8 o’clock.

Eddie Leon Guest
BLACKSHEAR — The funeral for Eddie Leon Guest, 81, was held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel.
Officiating were the Rev. Clinton Kearney, the Rev. Peter Dobie and the Rev. Ion Johns.
Interment was in the Offerman Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Drew Dodd, Brad Guest, Caleb McDuffie, Joey Lee Jr., Seth Lee, Josh Guest and Jeremy Guest.
A red rose boutonniere was placed in memory of his late grandson, Jonathan Guest.
Pearson-Dial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Johnie Mae Kitchen
A funeral for Johnie Mae Humphrey Kitchen was held Monday morning at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Carlos White and Pastor Sandra Washington officiating.
Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Karl Hill, Derek Humphrey, Damon Lee, Derrick Lee and Hakeem Williams.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were members of the Waycross High School class of 1974.
Music Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

A graveside service for Lawson Ussery was held Saturday morning at Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery in Brunswick with Brother Malcolm Boyett officiating.
