Michael W. Crawford
Michael “Mike” Wayne Crawford, 53, died suddenly Sunday morning (July 17, 2016) from injuries received in an automobile accident.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Waycross and member of Waycross Primitive Baptist Church. He was a former mechanic at Grady’s Auto Repair in Waycross.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Durrence Crawford, of Waycross; three children, Michael Crawford (Debra), Macy Leach (Joshua) and Malachi Crawford, all of Waycross; four grandchildren, Ryan Crawford, Cason Crawford, Ella Jane Crawford and Adaline Leach; his parents, Grady and Pat Crawford, of Waycross; five siblings, Grady J. “Buddy” Crawford Jr., of Atlanta, Tanya Gillis (Franklin), of Waycross, Robbie Crawford (Taressa), of Waycross, Scott Crawford (Mary), of Waycross, and Patti Sanz (Rick), of Waycross; his best friend, Wesley Taylor, of Atlanta; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held 12 p.m. Tuesday at Waycross Primitive Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday morning at the church from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m.

Avery Lee Griffin
A funeral for Avery Lee Griffin was held Friday morning at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Hoboken with the Rev. Mike Yawn officiating.
Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Eddie Hanchey, Kendall Thomas, Jimmy Lee, Jerry Johnson, James Griffin and Skipper Harris.
Miles-Odum Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

James Johnson
A funeral for James “Coach Jimmy” Johnson was held Friday afternoon at Winona Park United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gary Page and the Rev. Jonathan Smith officiating.
Burial followed in Kettle Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Larry Barber, Lynn Barber, Will Booth, Robert Cole, Tony Tanner and Doug Vinson.
Music Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Sheila Ammons Reaker
BLACKSHEAR — A memorial service for Sheila Yvonne Ammons Reaker, 64, was held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Pearson-Dial Chapel.
Officiating was Pastor Travis Dixon.
Memorialization was by cremation.
