HOMERVILLE — Two Homerville men have been jailed for possessing items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine, said said Clinch County Investigator Tom Bisdorf.
Clifton Gerald Tyson, 44, and Dennis Ridge Thompson, 25, both of 272 Tyson Road, were taken into custody April 14 at 3 p.m., said Bisdorf.
Sheriff Winston Peterson, Investigator Crystal Lloyd, Bisdorf and Deputy Gary Allen investigated a tip about a possible meth lab there, said Bisdorf Monday. Though they did not find a meth lab, all of the ingredients used to manufacture meth were present and were seized.
The suspects were being held in the Clinch County jail.
