Randall J. Stokes
BLACKSHEAR — Randall J. Stokes, 71, of Blackshear, passed away Friday (Feb. 6, 2015) after an extended illness.
Born June 25, 1943, he was raised in Pensacola, Fla., and graduated from Stetson University in Deland, Fla. He worked as a marine biologist before moving to Blackshear in 1972, where he owned and operated Overhead Door Company of Waycross until he sold the business and retired in December 2009.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Vera Stokes.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Gail Youmans Stokes; children, Brian Stokes (wife, Suzanne) and Missy Stokes; grandchildren, Tyler, Zachary, Colton and Randy; two brothers, Jerry Stokes (wife, Clara) and Roger Stokes; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A private funeral took place at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oakland Cemetery with Dr. Bill Young officiating.

Julie Ann R. Davis
Julie Ann Reynolds Davis, 56, of Mershon, died Friday morning (Feb. 13, 2015) following a short illness.
Born June 24, 1958 in Tampa, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Robert James and Nancy Burnett Reynolds. She lived most of her life in Pierce County where she was a housewife. She attended Blackshear Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Allen “Kip” Davis Jr.
Survivors include her three children, John Sikes, Drew Davis and Courtney Davis, all of Mershon; seven grandchildren, Dylan Walker Sikes, Sierra Jade Sikes, Zoie Rain Sikes, all of Waycross, Aliya Renae Presley, Sarah Elizabeth Presley and Makenzie Rayne Presley, all of Mershon, and Kaliegh Grace Davis, of Blackshear; two brothers, Bobby Reynolds (wife, Terri), of Albany, and Jessie Reynolds, of Mershon; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Martha M. Kicklighter
BLACKSHEAR — The funeral for Martha Louise “Patty” Manning Kicklighter, 77, was held Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock at Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Officiating were the Rev. Al Ferguson, the Rev. Buddy Griner and the Rev. Kenny Kicklighter.
Interment was in the Kicklighter Family Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were her grandsons, Quinn Kicklighter, Daniel Lankhorst, Kyle Lankhorst, T.W. Sauls, Trae Kicklighter and David Bell.
Honorary pallbearers were her granddaughters.
Pearson-Dial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

A graveside service for David Evans Perry took place Saturday afternoon in Oakland Cemetery with Honorable Stephen D. Kelley, President Albert Burns and Bishop Gary Flanders presiding.
Arrangements were with Music Funeral Home.

Martha Smart Gordon
A funeral for Martha Dale Smart Gordon took place Saturday afternoon in the Music Funeral Home Chapel with Dee Meadows and the Rev. Loren Bryant officiating.
Burial was in Corinth Cemetery.
Serving as active pallbearers were Terry Simmons, Keith Simmons, James Smart, Paul Smart, Phillip Smart and Jeremy Peacock.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the class of 1965 Blackshear High School.

Charles Jerome Scott
A funeral for Charles Jerome Scott took place Saturday morning at Northside Church of Christ with Brother Robert L. Atkinson officiating.
Burial was in Oakland Cemetery with military rites performed by the U.S. Navy.
Serving as active pallbearers were C.K. Sires, Donell Harmon, George Holmes, Sylvester Mills, Raymond Bell and Ronnie Goettie.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Center High School class of 1967.
Arrangements were with Music Funeral Home.
