BLACKSHEAR — Four people were arrested early Friday when lawmen executed a search warrant at a Tot Drive house and found a quantity of methamphetamine, said Pierce County Sheriff Ramsey Bennett.
Rodney Allen Aldridge, 43, of 6725 Tot Drive, Blackshear, Violette Mae Rupp, 36, of Summerfield, Fla., Shirley Nichole Aldridge, 26, of 6725 Tot Drive, Blackshear, and Derrick Lee Broome, 30, of Florence, Miss., were all taken into custody and charged with felony drug charges for possession of methamphetamine, said Bennett.
Pierce County officers went to the home at 12:11 a.m. Friday to execute a search warrant. After entering the house, the officers reported detecting a strong odor of bleach.
In a bedroom, they found a coke bottle containing the substance and at that time, ordered everyone to clear out of the house and contacted the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for assistance.
All four were booked into the Pierce County jail.
