Opposition or support may be voiced by the public during the meeting.
There will also be three commission meetings Monday. The first meeting of the day will begin at 1 p.m. when the board will convene a called meeting, then immediately enter into executive session to discuss personnel.
Following that and prior to the public hearing, the board will hold a work session beginning at 2 p.m.
Items on the work session agenda include hearing from visitor Phillip Norton, 5741 Wooddell Ridge Road, who will speak on an unknown topic, and a status report on the paving of Wooddell Ridge Road.
Other items to be discussed include a request for a new ambulance, a project letter agreement with Statewide Engineering for general engineering projects, a request for a license to sell beer and wine (off premises consumption) at AB’s I, 512 E. Ware St., and AB’s II, 2720 Albany Ave.
The regular monthly meeting will take place at 5 p.m. with the presentation of the county’s “Employee of the Month.”
Other items may be moved from the work session or public hearing agendas to the regular meeting.
All meetings except the executive session are open to the public and will be held in the courthouse second-floor conference room.
