Three people were injured Saturday in a two-vehicle collision on Ossie Davis Parkway at its intersection with McDonald Street, said Waycross Police Capt. Tommy Cox.
Clifford Davis, 55, and two passengers in his vehicle, Courtney Aguilar, 28, of Waycross, and Christopher Buckley, 30, of Waycross, were taken by Ware County ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross for treatment of injuries they suffered in the 6:44 p.m. accident, said Cox.
Davis, driving a 1998 Ford Van, was northbound in the inside lane of Ossie Davis Parkway when a 2000 BMW driven by Damon Daniels, 59, of Waycross, entered the roadway from a private drive. Cox said the Daniels car struck the van causing moderate damage.
Daniels was charged with failure to yield the right-of-way when exiting a private drive, Cox said.
Officer Rodney Foster was in charge of the investigation.
