Charles Dickens … or … Dr. Suess? That is the question that will be answered during Waycross Area Community Theatre’s upcoming production of the delightful holiday production of “A Seussified Christmas Carol!”
A whimsical reinvention of Dickens’ most beloved Christmas story in wacky rhymed couplets —  with zoot fruited juices and binka bird geese, from Bed-Headed Fred to Timmy Loo Hoo, — this tale of glorious holiday cheer is similar to something Dr. Seuss might have come up with … if he ever had his way with the story!
The show is being directed by Rhonda Robbins and features a large cast of characters including:
Tabitha Carter, Brenda Luke, Isaiah Ricks, Eli Varnadore, Patrick Finn, Anita Finn, Rem Farr, Bonnie Tullis, Kim Beck, Natina Walker, Brittany Peacock, Elizabeth Bazemore, Emily Bazemore, David Bazemore, Madison Bazemore, Zoe Johnson, Hannah Johnson, Audrey Grace Finn, Sophia Finn, J. Ryan Paul, Erika Smith, Emily Beck, Christopher Kuhbander, Rhianna Herrin, Cami Perritt and Alex Smith.
Show dates for “A Seussified Christmas Carol” are Dec. 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10 at 8 p.m. and one Sunday matinee performance on Dec. 4 at 2:30 p.m. at the historic Ritz Theatre in downtown Waycross. Admission is $10 and reservations may be made by calling the box office at 283-2161.
