A Waycross woman suffered head, neck and back pain Saturday after her vehicle was involved in a rear-end collision on Ava Street at its intersection with Harrison Street, said Waycross Police Capt. Benji Hersey.
Nicole Taylor, 31, was taken by Ware County ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross for examination and treatment, Hersey said.
Driving a 1996 Mercury Marquis, Taylor was stopped at the stop sign on Ava Street, waiting to move forward when a 2006 Ford F-150 pickup truck, driven by Billy Bowen, 55, of Waycross, struck the rear of her car, said Hersey.
Officer Timmy Lucas investigated the 4:18 p.m. accident.
