Robbie Lou Thigpen
Robbie Lou Thigpen, 79, died Friday evening (Aug. 19, 2016) at Hospice Satilla Hospice House after an extended illness.
She was a native of Wilcox County who lived most of her life in Ware County. She was a homemaker and a member of Sweat Memorial Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Odell Sutton and Hattie Lee McDuffie Hannah Sutton. She was the wife of the late Joe Thigpen.
Survivors include one son, David Thigpen (Margaret), of Waycross; one daughter, Deb Thomas, of Waycross; one grandson, Justin Thigpen (Laura); two great-grandchildren, Slade and Trent Thigpen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral was scheduled to be held 11 o’clock this morning at Sweat Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
The family received friends 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday at Music Funeral Home.

James Clifton Lee
James Clifton Lee, 84, died Sunday morning (Aug. 21, 2016) at Hospice Satilla Hospice House after an extended illness.
He was born in Ware County to the late Malcolm Lee and Daisy Smith Reed. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Church of God.
He retired as a warehouse supervisor for a pharmaceutical company in Florida.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Lee, and three sisters, Betty Fales, Darlene Crews and Mary Tuten.
Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Lee Smart, of Fleming Island, Fla.; one son, William “Mike” Lee, of Hoboken; four grandchildren, Keith Smart (Amanda), Marie Jacobs (Brad), Becky Santiago (Will) and Jennifer Beasley (Brian); nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Satilla Hospice House, 808 Evergreen Way, Waycross, Ga. 31501.
A funeral will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
The family will receive friends this evening from 6 until 8 o’clock at the funeral home.

Hollis John Bratcher
Hollis John Bratcher, 87, of Waycross, passed away early Sunday morning (Aug. 21, 2016) at Satilla Care Center.
Born in Alma Aug. 18, 1929, he lived in Ware and Pierce counties for most of his life. He worked at the Larry Lee Cabinet Shop for several years as well as at the Guerdon Industries Trailer Plant for a number of years.
He was a member of Smyrna Fellowship Church.
He was a son of the late John Everette Bratcher and Lilly Mae Teston Bratcher. He was also preceded in death by a son, Floyd Bratcher.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth “Betsy” Knowles Bratcher, of Waycross; a son and daughter-in-law, J.B. and Alice Bratcher, of Waycross; two grandchildren, Kayla Rowe and Johnathan (Johanna) Bratcher; six great-grandchildren, Kalee Rowe, Braden Rowe, Zachary Rowe, Jordy Bratcher, Jace Bratcher and Jacobi Bratcher; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 4 o’clock in the Pearson-Dial Chapel.
Interment will be in High Bluff Cemetery.
Visitation will be held this evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.

Lillian Daniels
Lillian Daniels, 95, of 3350 Tyre Bridge Road, in Patterson, transitioned from her earthly home to Heaven late Thursday night (Aug. 18, 2016) with her devoted and loving children at her bedside.
Friends may call on the family at the residence in Patterson.
Jacobs Funeral Home of Blackshear is serving the family and will announce the funeral arrangements upon completion.

Pate C. Lowery
A funeral for Pate Colquitt Lowery took place Saturday morning at Victory Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Dirst, the Rev. Phil Smith and the Rev. Dwayne Tanner officiating.
Burial was in Victory Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Don Harris, John Elton, David Lacey, Vascoe A. Lowery III, Bayne Yarbrough and Bryan Evans.
Arrangements were with Music Funeral Home.

Kenneth Brumbeloe
BLACKSHEAR — A memorial service for Kenneth Ponnell Brumbeloe, 87, was held Saturday morning at 11 o’clock at Blackshear First United Methodist Church.
Officiating were the Rev. Cecilia A. Tucker and the Rev. Robert Wood. Guest speakers were his children, David Brumbeloe, Lisa Brumbeloe Fletcher and Kevin Brumbeloe.
Memorialization was by cremation.
Pearson-Dial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Valiene S. Johnson
BLACKSHEAR — The funeral for Valiene Sirmans Johnson, 80, was held Saturday afternoon at 4 o’clock in the Pearson-Dial Chapel.
Officiating was the Rev. Andy Peacock.
Interment was in the Blackshear Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Lyn Day, Robert Johnson, Ashely Stoke, Steven Johnson, Chris Johnson, Bryan Stokes and Austin Stokes.
Pearson-Dial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
