James Bobby Morgan
James Bobby Morgan, 73, died Saturday morning (July 30, 2016) at his residence in Waycross following an extended illness.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Ware County and retired from the City of Waycross after many years of employment. He was also a member of Woodard Chapel Congregational Methodist Church.
He was a son of the late David Miller Morgan and Nora Vae Sill Morgan. He was also preceded in death by three siblings, Talmadge Morgan, Junior Morgan and Linda Morgan Nelson.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine McCellan Morgan, of Waycross; three children, Abbie Murray (Leon), of Waycross, Huey Morgan, of Waycross, and Peggy Moore (Bunky), of Homerville; six grandchildren, Brandon Bennett, of Waycross, Misty Mactier (Norman), of Waycross, Brittany Smith (Justin), of Homerville, George White (Tiffany), of Manor, Haley Curtis (Cody), of Minneapolis, Minn., and Corey Morgan, of Waycross; six great-grandchildren, Cody Bennett, Kaydence White, Saylor Mactier, Kreed Mactier, Harbor Mactier and David Smith; two sisters, Cassie Copeland (Jerry Sikes), of Waycross, and Dorothy Puckett, of Waycross; a brother, Larry Morgan (Linda), of Millwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Woodard Chapel Congregational Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Hargraves Chapel Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends Tuesday at Music Funeral Home from 6 until 8 p.m.

Brenda Gail Stone
Brenda Gail Stone, 54, of Waycross, died Friday (July 29, 2016) at her residence in Waycross after a sudden illness.
She was born to the late Robert F. Stone and had made Waycross her home for most of her life.
She enjoyed many things in life but her favorites were cooking, fishing and spending time with her beloved animals.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Stone.
She is survived by her three sons, Jason Gibbs, of Town Creek, Ala., Jeremiah Gibbs, of Blackshear, Marlyn Stone, of Waycross; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorialization is by cremation.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

James “Nathan” Dixon, 53, died suddenly Saturday (July 30, 2016) at his residence.
Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Music Funeral Home.

Charles Henry Clark
A funeral for Charles Henry Clark, 79, was held Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock at Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Officiating was the Rev. Edmund Thrift.
Interment was in Shady Grove Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were deacons of Shady Grove Baptist Church which included Calvin Courson, Billy Courson, Darrell Dixon, Andy Jones, Andy Houston, Kereth Allen and Mike Thrift.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Senior Adult Sunday School class.
Pearson-Dial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Gloria Oliver Griffin
A funeral for Gloria Oliver Griffin took place Saturday morning at Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Ricky Knox, the Rev. Chris Boyd and Shirley Henderson officiating.
Burial was in Camp Branch Cemetery.
Serving as active pallbearers were Noah Oliver, Kent Oliver, Ivey Oliver, Charlie Oliver, Virgil Oliver and Edward Oliver.
Arrangements were with Music Funeral Home.
