A Waycross woman wanted on an aggravated assault warrant turned herself in and was arrested Tuesday, said Waycross Police Capt. Benji Hersey.
Tamara Smith, 40, of Blackwell Street, was wanted in regard to an altercation in the vicinity of Byrd Street and Bowen Street where she allegedly stabbed a man Saturday, Hersey said.
She turned herself in to the police Tuesday, Hersey said, and was charged with aggravated assault. She was in the Ware County jail.
