Cathy C. Miller
Cathy Culpepper Miller, 66, passed away Wednesday (April 13, 2016).
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Montgomery, Ala., the Junior League of Americus, Ga., and former member of Central Baptist Church of Americus.
She was born in Richland, Ga., to Leon and Doris Culpepper. She grew up in Macon and graduated high school in Waycross. She married the love of her life, Donnie, Dec. 27, 1969. They had two boys, Travis and Brandon.
She graduated at the top of her nursing class at Georgia Southwestern College in Americus. Besides her role as mother, grandmother and wife, nursing brought her the most joy. She worked in various capacities of hospital and private practices. She was skilled and compassionate in all of her nursing roles.
She recently moved with her husband, Donnie, to Montgomery, Ala., and joined First Baptist Church of Montgomery. She loved her Lord and Savior and her family above all things.
She loved her animals, Lincoln, Penny, Bella and Ida-Claire, almost as well as her boys.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Doris Culpepper.
She is survived by her husband, Donnie Miller; sons, Travis (Crockett) Miller (and grandchildren Mills, Pepper and Crockett) of Columbus, and Brandon (Jenny) Miller (and grandchildren, Raines and Lydia) of Montgomery, Ala.; a sister, Cheryl (Vic) Correll and their children, Vic, Amy and Maggie, of Perry; a brother, Steven Culpepper, of Atlanta; and numerous friends in Americus, Peachtree City and Montgomery.
Her laughter, love for life, beautiful smile and unshakable faith will be missed by all who knew her, most especially her family.
A memorial service was held at First Baptist Church Saturday with Pastor Jay Wolf officiating.
The family received friends following the service.

Julius James Daniel
A funeral for Julius James Daniel was held Tuesday morning at Victory Methodist Church with the Rev. Dwayne Tanner and the Rev. James A. Dirst officiating.
Burial followed in Victory Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Anthony Booth, Chase Daniel, Drew Daniel, Gage Daniel, Garrett Daniel, Luke Daniel, Ryan Daniel and Alvin Gilliard.
Music Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Sarah Jane Dodd
A graveside service for Sarah Jane Dodd was held Tuesday afternoon at Oakland Cemetery with the Rev. Ben Smith officiating.
Miles-Odum Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
