Annie Lou Loyd
NAHUNTA — Annie Lou Loyd, 96, of Blackshear, passed away Sunday afternoon (April 17, 2016) at the Pierce County Nursing Home, in Blackshear, following an extended illness.
She was a native of Brantley County, born in Tarrytown. Her parents were Rufus Deen Riner and Eva Mae Scott Riner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Arnold Loyd Sr., a son, Blake Loyd, three brothers, Lynwood E. Riner, Gerald D. Riner and Ronald D. Riner, and one sister, Evelyn Riner Perkins.
She was a homemaker and a member of Nahunta First Baptist Church. She loved gardening and was a member of The Garden Club in Brantley County. She was also an active member in Home Demonstration Club, enjoyed cooking and was a very good seamstress. She also loved crocheting, making flower arrangements, painting and most of all loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her three sons and daughters-in-law, George A. and Dale Loyd, of Blackshear, Greg and Peggy Loyd, of Gainesville, and Stuart Loyd, of Rome; her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Beth and Carroll Deen, of Waycross; 10 grandchildren, Kecia D. Banks, (Tommy), of Waycross, Kacie D. Sasser, (Michael), of Jacksonville, Fla., Brandon C. Deen, of Waycross, Priscilla L. Bergern (Terry), of Kennesaw, Scott W. Loyd (Jo Ann), of Warner Robins, Joey Loyd, Chris Loyd, Ryan Loyd, Evan Loyd and Drew Loyd, all of Rome; 11 great-grandchildren; her sister and brother-in-law, Geneva and Bill Young; a special sister-in-law, Dorothy Hale, of Tifton; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A funeral will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta with the Rev. Derwin Griffin officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Deen, Scott, Ryan and Drew Loyd, Pierce Thrift and Jase Batten.

Willis Wade Robbins Jr.
Willis Wade Robbins Jr., 68, died Sunday (April 17, 2016) at his residence.
The family will greet friends from 2 until 3 p.m. Friday at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray.
A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be private.
He was born Nov. 13, 1947 in Waycross and lived in Jones County for the past six years. He was the son of the late Willis Wade Robbins Sr. and Grace Virginia Herndon Robbins. He honorably served his country with the United States Navy and was a member of Jamestown Baptist Church in Waycross.
He was a retired supervisor for Georgia Power Company and was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Floyd, and a brother, Gary Robbins.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley Robbins; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Emily Robbins; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Mike Ugajin; grandchildren, Greyson Robbins and Olivia Robbins; brothers and sister-in-law, Richard and Linda Robbins, and Bobby Robbins.

Irene Faye Harding
Irene Faye Harding, 76, of Hoboken, passed away Sunday (April 17, 2016) in Jacksonville, Fla., following an extended illness.
She was born May 16, 1939 in North Conway, N.H., daughter of the late Albert Lane and the former Phyllis Dow.
She was also predeceased by her daughter, Elfreda Decker.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Robert Harding Sr.; sons, Robert Harding Jr., Christian Harding, David Decker, Philip Decker; daughters, Melissa Harding, Brenda Decker, Susan Decker; 22 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday from 7 until 8 p.m. at Philippian Church, 4638 E. Main St., Hoboken, Ga. 31542, for friends and family wishing to pay their respects.

Patsy Henderson Sikes
Patsy Henderson Sikes, 85, died Friday morning (April 8, 2016) at Baptist Village Retirement Communities.
She was a native of Waycross, the wife of the late Daniel Paul Sikes. She was the daughter of the late William Jasper Henderson and Myrtle West Henderson.
Survivors include three daughters, Pam Brown (husband, Maurice), of St. Augustine, Fla., Chris Kelly (husband, Robbie), of Tyrone, and Missy Rozier (husband, Scott), of McDonough; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Audrey Houston, of Waycross; two brothers, Lloyd Henderson (wife, Judy), of Orange Park, Fla., and Roy Henderson (wife, Rosemary), of Thomasville; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at Carl J. Mowell and Son Funeral Home in Peachtree City, Saturday at 11 a.m.

Carolyn Virginia Floyd
Carolyn Virginia Floyd, 78, died Thursday (April 14, 2016) at University of Florida Health in Jacksonville, Fla., after an extended illness.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Waycross and a member of Crawford Street Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Grace Robbins, her husband, Paul Edward Floyd, one grandson, Paul Edward Bechiom, and one brother, Gary Robbins.
Survivors include one daughter, Victoria Dwinnell (husband, James Paul), of Yulee, Fla.; three grandchildren, Tiffany Lynn Linton, Richard Henry Lee Jr., William Austin Bechiom; 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bobby Robbins, Richard Robbins, Wade Robbins; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Sadie Mae Stewart, 87, died Monday Morning (April 18, 2016) at Hospice Satilla Hospice House after an illness.
