Officers with the Alma Police Department and the Bacon County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 130 Mullis Drive Wednesday and seized a quarter pound of marijuana and a variety of controlled substances including tramadol and xanax, both prescription drugs, said Alma Police Chief Michael Leslie.
Police arrested Dexter Reynolds, 25, of Alma, and Lacy Boatright, 30, of Alma, for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of public housing and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of public housing, said Leslie.
The officers also seized $1,191 cash, Leslie said.
Reynolds was out of jail on bond following a Sept. 15 arrest for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. Leslie said that on that date, officers seized 15 tramadol and $1,578 cash.
